Hey Flash is more than just a food truck—it’s a piece of home for the Hong Kong community in the UK.

Born out of our nostalgia for the vibrant street food culture of Hong Kong, we started Hey Flash to bring the taste of home to the streets of Britain. From the iconic egg waffles to steaming curry fish balls, every dish we serve carries a story of comfort, connection, and culture.

For us, this journey is deeply personal. Growing up, we admired the street vendors in Hong Kong who made magic happen with simple carts and big dreams. Now, as two Gen Z Hong Kongers carving out a path in the UK, we are proud to carry that same entrepreneurial spirit forward—no longer "running from the cops" like the street vendors of the past, but proudly showcasing Hong Kong's culinary heritage with a licensed food truck.

Hey Flash isn’t just about food—it’s about bridging worlds. Every time a customer speaks Cantonese with us or shares their memories of Hong Kong, we feel like we’re back home, even if just for a moment.

We travel from market to market, just like the roaming hawkers of old Hong Kong. Whether it’s crafting the perfect bubble tea or frying up a batch of crispy egg waffles, our mission is to provide a taste of nostalgia and a slice of happiness for everyone we meet.

我們的故事從思鄉開始。懷念香港街頭的熱鬧與熟悉的滋味，我們創立了喜快，將家鄉的味道帶到英國的大街小巷。從香脆的雞蛋仔到熱騰騰的咖哩魚蛋，每一款小吃都承載著一段溫暖人心的故事。

這對我們來說是一段深刻的旅程。從小看著香港街頭的小販用簡單的木頭車與堅定的夢想養家餬口，我們一直被這份堅韌與創意深深打動。作為移居英國的零零後港人，我們帶著這份傳統精神，駕著合法的餐車，驕傲地在異鄉延續香港味道的傳承。

喜快的存在，不僅僅是美食，更是一座連接的橋樑。每當有客人用廣東話與我們聊天，分享他們對香港的回憶，我們都感覺彷彿重回家鄉，那種溫暖讓一切都值得。

我們像昔日的香港「走鬼檔」般穿梭於英國各地市場，用手藝帶來熟悉的滋味與回憶。不管是濃香的港式奶茶，還是外脆內軟的雞蛋仔，我們的使命是為每一位客人送上鄉愁的滋味與幸福的片刻。
